Member Focus

Ruth Davis is currently a Research Professional IV at the University of Georgia and works in the Bioexpression and Fermentation Facility where she is the team leader for the Monoclonal Antibody Facility. Prior to joining the Bioexpression and Fermentation Facility, Ruth directed the Monoclonal Antibody Facility as an independent core for 10 years.  Ruth has been employed at UGA for 25 years.  Ruth received her B.S. Agriculture degree in Animal Science from the University of Georgia and her M.S. degree in Medical Microbiology, also from the University of Georgia. Ruth has attended SEASR meetings in Nashville and Atlanta in the past. At the meeting this year in Tampa, Ruth won first place in the poster competition for her poster entitled “A Monoclonal Development Project“.  Ruth enjoys participating in SEASR because of the incredible networking opportunities and the chance to socialize with other scientists.  Attendees of SEASR meetings are encouraged to become ABRF members.  Visit their website (abrf.org) for details.
