New Executive Committee Members

SEASR is currently accepting applications for new executive committee (EC) members.  All core directors and staff are welcome to apply.  Those selected will take office on July 1, 2018 and will serve a term ending directly after the SEASR Annual Conference in 2022. Core administrators, directors, managers, scientists, and technical staff in government, academic, and industry are eligible to apply.

Once the application period ends, the current Executive Committee members will conduct a thorough and intensive review of all eligible applications. At least four new members will be announced at the SEASR meeting in late June, to replace three exiting members. All applicants will be notified at that time of their application status, regardless of the decision.
The SEASR Executive Committee is the planning committee for all SEASR events, including the SEASR Annual Conference. Throughout each year of service, Executive Committee members are expected to actively participate in regular (monthly) conference calls and attend the SEASR Annual Conference during their term. Executive Committee members will receive travel and lodging support for the SEASR Annual Conference during their term.
