ABRF2018 is not just a meeting for OMICS-centric researchers! ABRF is expanding in new directions making it the must-attend meeting for core facility professionals of all disciplines. Scientific sessions and workshops allow presenters and attendees to explore and discuss in-depth critical scientific and technical issues encountered in biomolecular core facilities. Featured plenary sessions bring to light the discoveries made possible through core facilities and provide a preview of new technologies that will drive future discovery. Poster sessions provide further opportunities to network with colleagues sharing scientific interests and operational concerns.
The meeting features four main scientific tracks (mass spectrometry & proteomics, genomics, light microscopy/imaging and flow cytometry/antibody research/International forum) and an administrative track (management, professional development and compliance/regulatory issues).
Research Groups of ABRF spanning all core technologies will be presenting the latest results of studies aimed at gauging the effectiveness of new technologies and methodologies in real laboratory settings, as well as hosting additional scientific presentations to further emphasize key aspects of their technology.
Vendors in multiple disciplines will have exhibit booths but also make presentations, display posters, and host after-hours events. These activities provide in-depth interaction opportunities not always available at other meetings.
The ABRF Conference again ranked number one in a GenomeWeb survey in the “Technology/Instrumentation” meeting category.
